Scheme – Demolition of Life Expired / Poor Condition, old style, double mobile classroom, used for Reception Classrooms and Replacement with a double Reception Classroom Modular Block.
Notes – The double existing mobiles at the school, used for Reception Classes, were in a dilapidated condition, suffering from poor heating, roof leaks, overheating in summer months and generally life expired finishes etc.
The site was challenging due to the build location being located on the KS1 playground, with the existing unit being left in use until the new facility was built / operational.
Concept Education Services Ltd worked closely with school leaders and the Academy Trust, to look at options, develop an accommodation schedule and ultimately design the new facility to suit the needs of the client.
